Essay Structure Format

There are four main types of essay structures, and they include:

  1. Persuasive essay – used when drafting a personal statement or anything else that is intended to be talked about. Persuasive essays have a multi-partition structure whereby the body section has to contain 3-5 paragraphs. The number of paragraphs depends on the point of discussion. Now that you know the structure of an essay, the next step is to learn how best to write it and how to optimize your grammar.   • MLA 

The design of this essay structure is closely related to the content. As an essay, it uses a specific set of ideas to present.   • APA 

This design feature involves putting forward your arguments on a specific subject. It differs from the MLA design in that your ideas must be presented uniformly all through the essay.
